UNIFORMS 2026-2027

New students (freshmen and transfers) must wear the new uniform.

  • Polo shirts and optional quarter-zips with the Boylan logo must be purchased through Lands' End.
  • Shirts must be tucked into pants, and belts must be worn.

Returning students (sophomores, juniors, and seniors) may wear the old or new uniform.

  • Skirts must be worn with solid black or navy blue leggings or tights.
  • Blazers and sweaters will still be required beginning November 1st.

 


 

Uniforms are worn daily, and the policy applies throughout the entire school day.

Students must comply with Boylan’s Uniform Policy. Students who do not comply may receive demerits, a detention, or be sent home. Students sent home will be considered unexcused and will not receive academic credit.

Uniforms may not be modified (e.g., for health, medical, or weather reasons) unless permitted by the Dean of Students.

‡ Tops must be tucked into bottoms, and belts need to be worn.

BOYS’ UNIFORM POLICY

TOPS:
Dark green (evergreen) or white short-sleeve or long-sleeve polo shirt. †‡

BOTTOMS:
Black or tan (khaki) chino pants with a belt.

OUTERWEAR:
Dark green (evergreen) quarter zip pullover (optional). †

SHOES:
Casual/dress or sneakers (closed-toe and heel, examples: boys' shoes).

HAIR:
A boy’s haircut is considered part of the Boylan uniform. Hair is to be kept neat, clean, and professional. Extreme hairstyles and unnatural colors (other than black, brown, blonde, red/auburn) are not acceptable. The school does not prohibit hairstyles that are historically associated with race, ethnicity, or hair texture, including, but not limited to protective hairstyles such as braids, locks, and twists. If there are questions, the Dean of Students will decide.

FACIAL HAIR:
Beards, mustaches, and long sideburns (below the earlobe) are not permitted.Students are expected to be clean-shaven daily (even with a proper face covering).

JEWELRY:
Jewelry consistent with the school uniform may be worn (a class ring, watch). Earrings (even if covered) are unacceptable. Body piercing jewelry is not allowed (even with proper covering).

I.D.’S:
A student identification card will be required daily for the purpose of acknowledging the student, access to student activities.

GIRLS’ UNIFORM POLICY

TOPS:

Dark green (evergreen) quarter zip pullover (optional). †
