On Friday, May 21 at 2 pm, Boylan Catholic High School will host its commencement ceremony for 182 graduating students in the Class of 2021. The in-person ceremony will be held at Titan Stadium with COVID-19 protocols in place.

This year’s seniors have a 100% graduation rate. Collectively, members from the Class of 2021 have been offered more than $17 million in college scholarships. The class also features 54 National Honor Society members and 12 Illinois State Scholars.

This year’s graduates will attend colleges, universities, and trade schools in several states, including Alabama, Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, South Carolina, Texas, Utah, and Wisconsin. Several students will also be entering the Air Force, Army, Marines, and National Guard.

The ceremony will feature speeches from the Most Reverend David J. Malloy, Bishop of Rockford, and valedictorian Rachel Hilby.
