Three things that you may not know about me...

My favorite vacation was mine and my husband's honeymoon to Tahiti in 2000.  We would love to go back!

My favorite sports team is the Chicago Cubs.

Why did you decide to become a school counselor?
I decided I wanted to become a school counselor when I was a graduate student at the University of Missouri - Columbia.  I've always loved working with children and teenagers in schools, but knew I wasn't being called to teach in the classroom.  I have loved building relationships with students and families over the years.  One of the things I love most about my role is that I get to know students, their siblings and their extended family over the years as their school counselor.  And graduation day is the best day of the year!
