Support the Friends of the Fine Arts
The Friends of the Fine Arts was created in the early 2000s by staff, parents, and alumni as a way to support the Fine Arts students and programs at Boylan Catholic High School.
The Friends of the Fine Arts is 100% funded by donations that go directly to Boylan Catholic High School’s Art, Music and Theater Programs!
Below is a snapshot of what your donation to the Fine Arts Program can support:
- Custom framing/student plaque costs to sustain the Boylan Catholic High School Permanent Collection. The Permanent Collection was created in the late 70s, and contains 100s of original artworks created by senior art students that are on display throughout the building. This has helped to preserve the Boylan legacy for several decades!
- Printing costs to sustain the Mosaic art and literary magazine. The Mosaic was also created in the late 70s and contains examples of original art and literature created by our students! This has helped to preserve the Boylan legacy for several decades!
- Miscellaneous items such as: instrument tuning, set design, and various supplies outside of the Art, Music, and Theater budgets.
- Supports Art, Music and Theater students at their events, by providing snacks, water, and event specific items they need to have a successful show/performance.
- Fund plaques given to Art, Music and Theater students each year at the underclassmen and senior awards assembly. (eg. Friends of the Fine Arts Outstanding Senior in the Visual Arts, Friends of the Fine Arts Outstanding Senior in Theater, ...)
We believe that the Fine Arts are the truest catalyst to the development of the whole person, and are an authentic and beautiful way to connect us with the human experience. We appreciate your support. Please consider donating today! Your generosity allows our students at Boylan Catholic High School to continue to strive to be Saints. Scholars. Champions that will change the world!
