The Boylan Players present: Seussical the Musical!
This weekend only, the Boylan Players are pleased to present Seussical the Musical. Opening night will be Friday, March 18, 2022 at 7:30pm with two performances to follow on Saturday, March 19, 2022 at 7:30pm and Sunday, March 20, 2022 at 2:00pm. All performances will be held in the Boylan Auditorium located at 4000 St. Francis Dr., Rockford. Media and guests may enter through the Student Entrance (Door D).
Seussical the Musical is based on a collection of stories written by Dr. Suess. The musical was composed by Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty. This production is whimsical, magical and perfect for the whole family. Tickets for each production are only $8 and may be purchased at the door.
“The students have been rehearsing for Seussical since December and they are so excited to finally perform for their family, friends and peers. This is the first full spring production since before the pandemic so this will be a special moment for all of our students,” says Hannah Sleger, Boylan Theater Director.
Sleger continued, “the cast and crew have truly worked so hard to make Seussical a success and I’m so proud of their dedication and how far they have come. Seussical is such a fun production so I hope everyone comes out to enjoy it and to support our theater and music students.”
