On Thursday, December 7, 2023, Boylan Catholic Student Council students delivered Christmas gift baskets to the St. Elizabeth Community Center.

The 74 baskets, filled with groceries and gift cards, will support 37 different families. Each gift basket will assist with general needs and allow families to have a Merry Christmas.

For over five decades, Boylan Catholic has partnered with St. Elizabeth Catholic Community Center to provide these gift baskets to families. In the past, these baskets contained food, household items, clothing and gifts. As times have changed, the program has shifted to purchasing more gift cards to better suit the individual needs of families and accommodate their various modes of transportation. As a community, Boylan students, faculty and staff came together to collect these items and raise $6,500 for these families.

Senior student council officers who participated in the delivery process: Simona Caruana, Nathan Montalbano, Nolan Coen, Taylor Lee, Abby Stevens, Sam Boyle

“We are very proud of the Boylan community for the generosity they provided during this collection and wish the families at the St. Elizabeth Center a very Merry Christmas,” commented Principal Chris Rozanski. “We are proud of the twofold impact of the Christmas Basket project: the impact on the community as well as the impact on our students.”
