Through this partnership, eligible students will have the opportunity to attend Rockford University tuition-free.
To share details about this initiative, Boylan Catholic will host an informational event on Thursday at 6:00 PM in the Scandroli Lecture Hall. Media representatives are invited to attend and learn more about this transformational opportunity for students and families.
Eligibility requirements for tuition-free attendance at Rockford University include:
- Unweighted GPA of 3.00 or higher
- Residency within the City of Rockford
- Pell and MAP grant eligibility (as determined by FAFSA)
- A desire to pursue college education locally
Representatives from Rockford University, Rockford Promise, ISAC (Illinois Student Assistance Commission), and Boylan Catholic High School will be present to discuss this initiative, answer questions, and provide guidance to families on how to take advantage of this opportunity.
“This partnership is an incredible step forward in making higher education more accessible and affordable for Boylan students,” said Jeffrey P. Hohn ’87, College Counselor at Boylan Catholic High School. “We encourage families and media to join us to learn more about how this initiative can help students achieve their college dreams.”
