On Thursday, March 20, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Boylan Catholic High School will host its annual Career Fair in the Bachrodt Center for Health and Fitness at Boylan Catholic High School, 4000 St. Francis Dr., Rockford. Media representatives are welcome to attend and may enter through the Student Entrance (Door D).
Students will visit the fair in 50-minute increments by grade level, with seniors attending first. Media will have the opportunity to speak with students, fair organizers, and local professionals participating in the event.
The Career Fair provides students with a unique opportunity to connect with representatives from a wide range of industries across the Greater Rockford Area. The event serves three key purposes: career education and exposure, potential summer employment, and future internship opportunities. Leading up to the event, students received guidance on how to engage with professionals, ask meaningful questions, and prepare for career-related conversations.
“Our Career Fair is an invaluable opportunity for students to explore different industries, ask questions, and gain insight into potential career paths,” said Jeffrey Hohn, College and Career Counselor at Boylan Catholic High School. “By connecting students with professionals in a variety of fields, we help them take important steps toward their future, whether that means higher education, vocational training, or entering the workforce.”
